Children can experience a range of emotions when going somewhere new for the first time. As parents we sometimes forget that the size, colour, shape and sound can be very daunting for a child, so you can imagine an exciting holiday overseas for us can be quite the reverse for our children! In this audio, Freya is going on a holiday with her parents to Fiji. Initially she was quite excited and curious about Fiji, although the thought of leaving her friends and getting on the aeroplane started to make her feel scared.

Using the concept of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), the child is supported on a wonderful journey through descriptive language and wonderful sounds, this combination than works its magic in the unconscious mind.

This is a funny and unique story that takes Freya right through the airport – seeing pet cats and dinosaurs, watching luggage fly on magic carpets, having a delicious breakfast and watching the planes having a drink of apple juice. The airport becomes a real adventure for Freya – all the sights and sounds and special treats as she boards the plane. The once-scary plane transforms into a peaceful slumber, where Freya has her own seat made out of marshmallow, and a very peaceful flight ensues, complete with lullaby music and birds flying over.

What you need to know before Downloading our Audio Files

Apple do not allow devices such as iPhone and iPad to download any audio files directly from the internet.

You may, however, first download your mp3 files directly to your computer (not through your iPhone or iPad).

Then simply add your Start Life Now audio files to your iTunes library on your computer, then plug your Apple device into your computer and sync your iTunes library with your mobile device.

How to Download our Audio Files

1. Click the red ‘Download’ link (found within your confirmation email), then click Save or Save this file to disk in the File Download dialog box that appears.

2. In the Save As dialog box, specify a location to save the file to (for example, Desktop), and then click Save.

3. When the download is finished, double-click the icon to open the .zip file, and then extract the files that are contained in it.
